Janet and David Nelson always wanted to own a company together. And in 2018, they purchased the Manor House. Excited to foster an environment for custom corporate and personal events, Janet and David – along with the dedicated staff – always seek ways to give back to the community.
Janet Dane Nelson, Owner
Janet studied construction management at Cincinnati State. She then worked in Sales and Marketing her entire career with State Farm Insurance, Nationwide and Halo Branded Solutions. Passionate about supporting the community, Janet is an active volunteer in the community with organizations such as The Nest Recovery Home. She’s also Past President and Future President of Mason Kiwanis Club and the co-chair of Mason Kiwanis annual Pancake Day for the past 10 years.
David Nelson, Owner
David graduated from Valparaiso University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and earned his MBA from DePaul University. He’s served as President or CEO of several companies including Finn Corporation, Armor and Dunline. David brings a strong background in finance and sales strategy to his work at The Manor House.
Together, David and Janet are active members of Crossroads Church in Mason and have 3 children. Kelsey, Operation Manager for Chewy Inc. in Indianapolis, is mom to Leilani. Alexis lives in Dallas. Trevor works for Manor House as a Facilities Manager.
